Colorado Mountain Club’s Ascending Hikes Series

posted in: 14ers, hikes | 0

Want to go from beginner hiker to confident trekker in just one season? The Colorado Mountain Club’s Ascending Hikes Series is an opportunity to make new friends, explore more of Colorado’s hiking trails, and increase hiking speed and stamina.

Hikes start off easy and gradually progress in length and difficulty so that you’re ready to tackle a new challenge by the end of the summer.

The series will run weekdays and weekends May through October. There’s no big commitment — you can jump in or out anytime. Search the Trip Calendar for “Ascending Hikes,” and sign up for the entire series or for just one hike. There will even be a couple of 14er climbs just for Ascending Hike participants at the end of the season.
