Hiking – Spruce Mountain Trail

This trail is a big loop. Hike Southwest on Spruce Mountain Trail taking the upper loop, then down to Eagle Ridge trail and have lunch at the picnic tables at the old grave site. Then return via the Eagle Pass trail. There are great views of the Rampart Range and Pikes Peak.

We will meet at 8:30am at the Cabela's parking lot at 10670 Cabela Dr, Lone Tree. Meet on the west side of parking lot across from the Sierra restaurant. Cabela's is  near I-25  and west on RidgeGate parkway. If you want to meet us at the trail head please send me email at margentati@gmail.com. Spruce mountain trailhead is five miles south of Larkspur on the Spruce Mountain Road. BRING MICROSPIKES.

We will not need snow shoes but bring microspikes.
